We are seeking an experienced, service focussed and detail-oriented Membership Manager to lead the administration, oversight and governance of the Club’s membership framework. Reporting to the Member Engagement Director, this role plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of membership policy and processes, supporting Club leadership and Sub-Committees with providing trusted advice, robust reporting back by high-quality data and analytics, ensuring membership decisions are informed, equitable and aligned with the Club’s Constitution, By-Laws and strategic objectives

Your will lead a small dedicated team, empowered to deliver an exceptional service experience at each touchpoint of the full membership lifecycle from a compliance perspective.
Key responsibilities include
- Act as a key point of contact for members and prospective members
- Oversee the end-to-end membership lifecycle, including nominations, elections, transfers, resignations and cessations, in line with governing documents
- Provide high-quality reporting, insights and analysis to Membership and related Sub-Committees, including identification of membership trends and member lifecycle stages
- Support Club leaders with data-driven decision-making, including scenario analysis and forecasting
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy and governance of membership data and systems
- Review, interpret and administer membership policies, By-Laws and related procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and clarification
- Support the Finance team to manage membership fees, charging processes and debtor follow-up.
- Act as a key governance and operational point of contact for membership-related matters (this role does not focus on sales, events or commercial acquisition activity)
- Lead, develop and support a small membership team, fostering a culture of empowerment, accuracy, accountability and service excellence
- Ensure clear documentation, audit trails and risk management across all membership activities
About you
- Proven experience in membership governance, administration or operations within a member-based organisation, association or similar environment
- Strong capability in data analysis, reporting and interpreting member trends and lifecycles
- Experience supporting Boards or Sub-Committees with papers, insights and recommendations
- Demonstrated confidence managing policies, rules, fees and compliance-based processes
- Comfortable overseeing financial charging and debtor management processes
- Highly organised, detail-focused and confident working with systems and complex data
- Experience as a capable leader creating a positive team culture through clarity, structure and trust
